Major Activities Undertaken




A Homeopathic Dispensary established at Anand Nagar (Inderlok) Delhi .


Another dispensary opened under the name of D. K. Charitable Clinic to provide both Allopathic and Homeopathic treatment


The Anand Nagar dispensary shifted to Mohan Garden with the added facility of Allopathic treatment.


D.K. Charitable Trust duly registered under The Society Registration Act, 1860.


A number of free eye camps for cataract operation organized for the benefit of that segment of the society which can ill-afford such surgical operations.


An additional department of Ayurvedic treatment created both at the Raja Garden and Mohan Garden dispensaries.

The Trust donates a substantial amount of funds for the construction of the Main Hall of Fateh Chand College for Women, Hissar, Haryana


Services of specialists for eye, gynaecology and psychotherapy added to the Mohan Garden Dispensary.


A full-fledged Post Office (a Central Govt. undertaking) with all sorts of Postal Services opened in September under the name of D.K. Post Office for the residents of Mohan Garden . The infrastructural facilities including the building that houses the post office are provided by D.K. Charitable Trust.

Feb, 2000

A library started under the name of Leela Devi Public Library for the benefit of the people of South-West Delhi. Formally inaugurated by Prof. D.R. Kalia, former UNESCO Library expert and former director, Delhi Public Library. The function was presided over by Prof. P.B. Mangla.


Hepatitis-B Camp organised twice for the benefit of the common public.


A diabetes camp organised with the involvement of Dr. Ashok Jhingan, Senior Diabetologist and Chairman of Delhi Diabetes Research Centre in December.


In October, a blood donation camp organized in association with the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital and Kerala Arts & Sports Club, Mohan Garden .

The Trust also donates funds to the Prime Minister National Relief Fund from time to time.
