Welcome to D.K. Charitable Trust
The D.K. Charitable Trust, a registered society under the Societies Registration
Act, came into existence in the year 1979. It was started by late Shri Khazan Chand Mittal.
The letter âDâ stands for late Shri Dwarkadas
ji (father of
the founder) and âKâ stands for
late Shri Khazan
Chand ji.
The trust has committed itself to charitable works that serve the community in an
exemplary fashion. It is currently running
two charitable dispensaries
that offer treatment in

three major disciplines of medicine
namely Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homoeopathy.
One of the dispensaries is located in Raja Garden and the other one is at Mohan Garden, near
Uttam Nagar. Pathological
services have been made available at concessional
rates at the
Raja Garden
dispensary. At
Mohan Garden
, the
trust
also runs a physiotherapy centre and a public library, the
Leela Devi Public Library, named after late Smt. Leela Devi ji
(the wife
of the founder).
It has given rent-free accommodation to the postal authorities for a full-fledged
delivery post office of New Delhi-110059 named as
D.K. Post Office
that serves the entire community around about 35 square kilometres.
